Anchor Point is host to a variety of events throughout the year. From snowshoe softball in the winter to rubber duck races during the 4th of July celebrations; you will find many activities to keep you busy and entertained no matter the season.

King Salmon Season season lasts for five consecutive weekends on the Anchor River. It starts at 12:01 A.M. on the Saturday of the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend.

Kid’s
All-American Fishing Derby
The
Saturday of National Fishing Week is the day of the annual Kid’s Derby
- an event of Hooked on Fishing International - including a big fish contest
and casting contests. All events are free to kids under the age of 16.
Enjoy the picnic provided for contestants and families. Locally sponsored
by Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce.

4th
of July Celebration
A one-day fun filled event for the entire community. The day’s activities include a parade, community potluck picnic, horseshoe tournament, beach golf, a rubber duck race, and games for the kids including a coin hunt. A true "small town America" way to celebrate our Nation’s birth for the residents and visitors alike. Sponsored by Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce.

Fun Festival
A
mini carnival for the young and young at heart held the last weekend of
the month. A variety of games, contests, and raffles mark this evening
of community fun. Sponsored by Chapman School Parents Association.

Happenings
This
bazaar is held just in time for your holiday shopping. An array of hand
crafted items, specialty products, and home baked goods tempt the most
discerning buyer. Sponsored by Anchor Point Friends of the Library.

show includes skits, musical performances, dancing, and juggling among
